  5. Have  you  ever  asked yourself why so
  6. many  dudes  still  think that the RED
  7. SECTOR  MEGADEMO  is  the  best  one
  8. around?

  10. Have  you ever wondered about all guys
  11. who have voted for Delta of TCC-Design
  12. in  the  charts although there haven't
  13. been  any  releases by this guy in the
  14. last months ?

  16. Why  are  demos like the CeBIT Demo or
  17. Mental   Hangover   still   the   fave
  18. productions for many freaks ?

  20. Well,well,well...
  21. I  thought  about  these  things for a
  22. while  and by this article I'll try to
  23. answer the questions...

  29. In  my  opinion  it  is  all caused by
  30. today's  scene...   Nowadays  more  or
  31. less  cool  demos  are  released  each
  32. week, sometimes even each day.

  34. Many  groups  have  been  founded,thus
  35. there  come  out more productions than
  36. ever before.

  38. Now just think about the time when the
  39. older  demos  came out.  The scene was
  40. much  smaller  and  the quality of the
  41. production  was  not as high as today,
  42. although  I don't want to say that ALL
  43. productions   coming   out  today  are
  44. better than the old ones...

  46. Anyway,  the  Red  Sector  Megademo or
  47. Mental   Hangover   have   been   real
  48. sensations  at the time when they were
  49. released,  that  why  they  are  still
  50. liked so much...

  52. The  quality  increased so much in the
  53. last  2-3  years  that  it  is hard to
  54. believe   in   another  generation  of
  55. demos,   another   sensational   break
  56. through.
  57.  
  58. "Enigma"  was  the  last "sensation",
  59. perhaps  not  as  big  as the demos in
  60. 1989  were,  but coding, GFX and music
  61. broke all mental borders...
  62.  
  63. So,  everytime  when there's a kind of
  64. sensational   production,   I  mean  a
  65. really  amazing  one,  the freaks will
  66. remember  it  for a long time and vote
  67. for it in all kind of charts...
  68.  
  69. That's  in  my opinion the only reason
  70. justifying  why old demos are still in
  71. the charts...
